If you used Mailgun, you must give them a credit card number.

Have you read the email debugging document linked above? What steps have you taken? What have you checked? What mail service are you using? Did the domain that you configured match the one they your Discourse is using?

(Muhammad Tassawarr) #12

I have read it already but can’t understood few things.
i configured the mailgun settings they are Okay.

basically i have few unclear points related this post.

  1. should i create an email before i configure the email settings by mailgun?
  2. Credit card details for mailgun are necessary for sending emails in free tier?
  3. since i configured the settings in zone editor for that domain and added the txt/mx / cname records correctly. All that are fine and green. How can i send verification email on my gmail which is listed as admin.
  4. I need assistance about mailgun too.

The main issue is how can i get admin verification email.
The screenshots are below.

  1. this is the done as it comes green.

  2. As i received this once i created into my cpanel

As i created a mailing list as i was checking out for making it work.

You don’t need to do anything on cpanel.
