# Admins inbox lacks discoverability

It really isn’t clear that the unread message is in an admins inbox that I have to click on to see the unread message that `My Messages` wants me to see.

It took me a minute of looking around the interface looking for the next blue dot to find my unread message.

Hey @JustinZ

I moved this to the `ux` category, since it seems you’re not really asking for support (and nothing can be done afaik, this is just how it is).

The inbox design (and lack thereof) is something we are aware of and would like to address at some point for sure. Feedback like this is very useful to us, and helps us to push things on the agenda, so thank you.

I agree! This trips me up regularly here on meta, where we have many group inboxes that might have new messages. Maybe that group inbox pulldown can get highlighted treatment when there are other inboxes with new messages? 🤔 Or when you click on My messages in the sidebar it takes you to one of the inboxes directly with new messages?

I think having a dot next to the dropdown would be suitable.
