I’m currently trying to setup Google Adsense for Discourse, I use the Standard payment option with a custom domain. I have entered the domain into Adsense and have now moved onto the’Verify Site Ownership’ tab. I have pasted the Ads.txt snippet into: 1: [domain.com/admin/site\_settings/category/ad\_plugin](http://domain.com/admin/site_settings/category/ad_plugin) - Ads TXT When typing domain.name/ads.txt into the google search bar it shows: ![image](https://global.discourse-cdn.com/meta/original/4X/e/9/4/e94727ca49554445a59f3b38ab122a9c725c3f75.png) And in the Dev Tools it returns Status Code: 200 OK under network. However my issue is when attempting to press the verify button on the Adsense page it says ’ Couldn’t verify your site We couldn’t verify your site. Make sure that the changes you made to your site are published and accessible by the Google AdSense crawler. If you’re still having issues try another method.’ I’m unsure of how to proceed with this, and most of the documentation forms i’ve seen are for people hosting discourse themselves and not using the Standard payment plan with Discourse. If anyone has any knowledge on this please let me know. Thank you. ---

I mainly found the documentation abit confusing since I had to decipher between what was on the self hosting side of it and the Discourse hosting lol. I believe I put in the Publisher ID however Adsense didn’t provide the rest ---

I thought I’d give it a run-through myself as it’s been a while since I last played with it. However I’m also hitting a snag… It wants me to verify the main domain and not the subdomain my site is on. I am not sure how to do this as I don’t have anything on the main domain. 🤔 ---
