Correct, the chat plugin should now work again for you on the stable branch.

How do I update the chat plugin only?
As the docker manager is broken, and I don’t have an easy way to just update the chat-plugin on the admin pages.
Chat is bundled with core, you don’t need to update it separately.

As showing above, no available new core version. So, how do I find the new stable version mentioned above?
Seems not to be released yet?
Perhaps a CLI rebuild would do it?

Your screenshot says you’re on 3.1.4 +2 which is the latest stable version and it includes the fix.

This solved the issue for me for now, as well.
I’m using bitnami/discourse:latest and it’s currently using version 3.1.4 at Commits · discourse/discourse · GitHub
@rsmithlal I’ve got the same error when using the version 3.1.4 of Discourse Bitnami
The fix mentioned above is available only on 3.1.5 and not 3.1.4
The fix provided by @moggleif works as workaround, but we must wait for the new release by Bitnami (version 3.1.5) to fix it

I ended up migrating to the official installation method. It really wasn’t worth the hassle trying to figure out how to work with the Bitnami image.
I only used Bitnami in the first place because it was used as the base image in the Cosmos Server app marketplace.
I’m now running on version 3.3.0-beta1.
