# AI bot keeps auto-adding me to a private chat channel even though disabled?

I run a small forum for a few different things. Very recently (in the past few days), every time I load the site or refresh a page, the Discourse Helper Bot chat appears as an open DM chat, and it is **impossible** to get rid of it. I’ve tried: leaving another user’s DMs open, closing this one, clicking the Leave Chat button, muting the channel, even disabling chat for the user. It ignores other chats being full-screen and continues to pop up as the small corner chat. And as mentioned in the title, the AI features for this site are entirely (as much as one can) disabled since they aren’t useful or wanted for the forum, and until this started happening there’s been no problems with that.

This is _incredibly_ annoying, and I can’t figure out what could possibly be the reason it just started happening now.
