The latest latest is changing multiple times a day. So you almost never run “latest latest”. Your forum is using the “latest” branch, so whenever it is updated you get the latest changes. But your forum is not updated multiple times per day.
When you click the “GitHub” link you can see something like
This is what I see on my forum. It tells me that the current version includes a commit from 2026-08-12T19:48:00Z. So back then it was “latest”, but since then there were more than 20 new commits.
