# AI Chat errors

Hi,

Getting this error when I type anything into the chatbot. Any idea what’s wrong?

Sorry, it looks like our system encountered an unexpected issue while trying to reply.

Why are you trying to have an AI Bot conversation with the Persona that was built to create Gist summaries?

Try a purpose built Persona for that, like “Forum Helper”.

Well firstly, i have no idea what type of AI bot this is because I didn’t install it, it just appeared one day, so I assumed it came in an update. Im just testing to see what it does. All im presented with is this: so I thought it might be so kind of intelligent forum search function. It literally says, “what can i help you with?”

Without any configuration, that page has a dropdown at the top left:

The Summarizer is not an option there unless an admin goes to its page and enables it erroneously.

Change it to the default Forum Helper and try again.

definitely don’t have the option to change that. The screenshot I posted contains all that’s on the page. I see a new update has dropped recently so I’ll do that first.
