Looks like I just had to recreate the Embeddings configuration in my Discourse-AI admin settings for Gemini, and set the embedding dimensions to 3072. I’m guessing this config was created a while back, when the default was still 768. Thanks @nat for pointing me to check the logs!

There’s likely more information in /logs also since 500-type errors go there. Can you check? The “Success!” only confirms the API credentials and endpoint work, but does not test the semantic search process.
