This is certainly useful, but it requires careful tag maintenance. It would be great if there was an option for the translator to ignore tags altogether, perhaps.

In our instance, we use many tags in English because that’s how the terms are commonly recognized.
I wonder if this setting would prevent us from having to re-translate tags that are translated by default back into English and/or avoid reverse-localizing to get our default language tags we like to have?

That’s why I posted; we use a ton of technical, English terms that seldom need translation, and I can’t be chasing after newly created tags to enter descriptions or protectively “translate” them.
