# Allow deleting messages that I sent to myself

I love the new feature that allows me to [send messages to myself](https://github.com/discourse/discourse/commit/d61df21d69e5d8a4c9f10a98fbe35e4713024cfd).

The ability to delete those messages would make this feature even better. Any chance that this could be added too? 😉

Should be doable, probably only a small change to guardian, will have a look.

The thing is we are trying to reduce the number of medium and big changes we are doing to lead up to the 1.6 release. So only small stuff at this point, unless it is on the 1.6 #releases list as an official big-item todo.
