# Allow replies to single topic in restricted category

hello 💜

on a forum we’re handling, we have a category that’s restricted for lambda users, so that they can see, but not reply/create  
However, we’d like to have the opportunity to set a single topic in that category with allowed replies - would it be possible, or it’d be better to just move the topic in a less restricted category ?

I’m afraid permissions are category-based and cannot be applied to individual topics. You would need to move the topic to a less-restricted category.
