This is an official plugin, meaning that any PR would need to be accepted by the Discourse team. Would this be welcome at present?
I’ve got a few other features that I’d like to see in there (including @spirobel’s), and have been thinking about whether shared sponsorship could work for this.

Oh, I was under the assumption that this was already planned in coordination with Discourse, precisely because it is an official plugin.
I would welcome the release the sooner the better. The missing tax is also a legal issue for us.

Are you interested in taking this further? I’ve got a real world test-case that would be ideal for ironing out any bugs.
