# Allow user to delete their own topic with no replies at any time

This feature request should, if implemented, remain a **site‑specific configuration**.

Then the question arises as to what should be the **default**. I would suggest that the current 24‑hour limit should be the default. Either way, I would disable the more permissive variant on the site that I&nbsp;admin.
