# 允许用户查看编辑时间限制

仅仅在今天（我或其他人）就不得不（早起/匆忙回家/待在火车站上网），因为不确定几个小时后是否仍然允许编辑帖子（假设有秘密的 24 小时限制，那么 22 小时和 26 小时后的区别）。
例如，“哎呀，我想纠正 22 小时前帖子的一个错别字。回家后可以吗，还是必须马上回家？”
当然，只需登录。如果你看到一支铅笔，就意味着你可以编辑。
但如果我们为了检查而需要找电脑或手机，因为没有任何办法在不询问管理员的情况下知道我们还有多少时间可以编辑……那么：
- 这是“Discourse 设计者认为‘用户不需要知道’的”。
- 但这是“用户希望知道的”。
- 即使大多数用户“通常不需要知道”，但是
- 如果一些用户有办法知道，而无需询问管理员，也不会有什么坏处！
请注意，我指的是全球所有网站。
当然，你可以说，“好吧，只需添加新回复”。但通常情况下，只想修复一个令人尴尬的错别字，这有点小题大做……只会增加更多的尴尬。
一种让用户知道他们在特定网站上还可以编辑帖子多长时间的方法是：当他们将鼠标悬停在铅笔图标上时：除了“编辑此帖子”之外，还可以显示“剩余 22 小时 48 分钟”。
这样，用户在最初撰写帖子时就会对他们还有多长时间可以编辑有一个概念。因为他们可能会在发布后不久对其进行多次编辑，每次都会看到鼠标悬停提示。或者至少他们可以随时检查（而无需匆忙回家查看铅笔是否还在。）（唯一的麻烦是管理员更改了限制。但这不应该经常发生……）
并且为了兼容性，增加一个新设置，仅限管理员，默认关闭。
对用户隐藏编辑时间限制（或“不允许用户查看编辑时间限制”）。
（或者称之为“允许……”并默认开启。）
顺便说一句，假设我们离“秘密限制”还有五分钟，我们花了七分钟来完善它。当我们尝试保存编辑时，会发生什么？
