# Allow .wmv files in Discourse forums

I’m a developer from the Devforum, i came here to ask a request, which is allow .wmv files.

This would be a great oportunity to people like me who uses a recorder very bad, which is the only recorder that i have.

We already support `.wmv` (and all other) files. We just limit uploads to certain extensions by defualt.

This is a site-specific request. An admin at Devforum would need to add `wmv` to the `authorized extensions` site setting.
