# Allowing SVG Category images

Is it possible to allow SVGs for Category images - currently only png, jpeg, gif, etc. are allowed. Would help with scaling if images are being used elsewhere as well, such as plugins.

This is possible but requires a small change to one of your site settings.
You only need to add the SVG extension to the `authorized_extensions_for_staff` site setting, refresh the page and you’ll be good to go.

I knew that setting was there but for some reason didn’t think it would work for a site setting… 🤯, nice one Joe.
