# Amazon Down? - S3 Image Uploads

Had a report from a Discourse forum that image uploads had started to fail. It looks like a general Amazon (AWS) outage across the board at the moment, so a heads-up for that in-case anyone here comes looking.
I couldn’t restart the app as it looks [docker.io](http://docker.io) is also AWS based.

EDIT: Looks like just stuff in US-EAST-1 region.

Our entire discourse site is going down and the only thing in the logs is related to this. Anyone experiencing the same?
e: Appears that SES in the region is also down and that’s what’s causing it.

It is almost certainly related to that if it’s flooding your logs. Hopefully Amazon fixes things up quickly.
