# Amazon s3 uploads not working?

i have setup s3 uploads as described here: [http://learndiscourse.org/setting-up-file-and-image-uploads-to-s3/](http://learndiscourse.org/setting-up-file-and-image-uploads-to-s3/)

the thing is that i’ve also setup amazon s3 backup support for my discourse and it works.

but normal image uploads are not working, when i try to upload an image within a topic, it just uploads to plain server but not s3.

After this changes, should i run ./launcher rebuild app ?

i’m running the latest build: v1.7.0.beta5 +37
