# Annoying group PM/email notifications about flags after 2.8.0.beta5

We have group (not default moderators group) who moderate own category on forum.

After [beta5](https://meta.discourse.org/t/2-8-0-beta5-pm-improvements-unseen-view-allow-uploaded-avatar-by-trust-level-and-more/202357#personalgroup-messaging-improvements-2) update users in group started getting PM and email notifications about flags in category. Flags with reason “Something Else”, maybe others too.

Flags in other categories for default “Moderators” group work as before, notifications only in Review menu.

Hi,

That is happening because of the fix below. Category moderators should be able to see messages flagged as something else when generated in their category - Not a bug
