# Anonymous Posting - Like Fishbowl

I want my discourse forum to mimic Fishbowl in that Names/Usernames should not be used. A user’s Job Title would show instead.

Is this possible?

We have anonymous posting if that helps? Although the username can’t be changed.

This is great, thanks! Do you know if we can default users to being anonymous? Force them to be anonymous without an option to show personal information?

I don’t believe so. Anonymous mode works on a per-session basis.
