# Any chance pre-filled topic via URL will eventually support tags?

Creating topics via URL is awesome! Just what the doctor ordered… but, we’d really like to be able to include `&tags=foo,bar,baz` in the URL. I realize that having tags in a plugin probably makes the solution more complicated.
Is this on anyone’s radar?

Any luck on this feature? Is this feature still in the very end of the backlog?😣
I tried to do it myself by mimicking [FEATURE: support category/subcategory name in new-topic route by arpitjalan · Pull Request #3434 · discourse/discourse · GitHub](https://github.com/discourse/discourse/pull/3434) but failed.
It seems requires a decent understanding of the tagging plugin in order to implement this feature.

Possible, tags was pulled into core in 1.6 so it will be much more closely integrated.

Is there a timeline for this feature?
Just want to know a rough timeframe for this and I can plan my development accordingly.
