# Gebruiken politieke partijen Discourse?

Wondering whether there are any political parties using Discourse for member-to-member discussions? The party I belong to is using some junk system that is inhibiting discussions and yet wants members to increase discussions. I see Discourse as the solution to increased discussions but others remain to be convinced.

Glad you’re asking glimfeather! We’ve just started our 14-day trial up here in Canada (we’re a provincial Green party)! Been thinking the very same as you for the longest while! We’ve been using Slack, mostly for internal comms but it’s far from useable for us to use for our broader memship.

Greens in Finland are using — for general discussion and internal comms. Or at least they are trying, because it hasn’t been too popular. Other parties… nothing I know.
Beating Facebook is really hard here up north, for several reasons.
