# Append tags - not working

I’m trying to bulk add tags to several Topics at a time by selecting multiple Topics and then \> Append Tags.

However it doesn’t seem to do anything, I’ve even tried just selecting one item but it still has no effect. (Same thing happens with ‘Change Tags’ as well…hmmm, just checked ‘change category’ and that doesn’t work either).

_Not sure if this is a bug affecting everyone or just me, so have put in #Support for now._

Yup, I can repro here.  
@techAPJ can you take a look?

Edit: I can repro for tags, but changing category works.

This behaviour was regressed 18 days ago in [this commit](https://github.com/discourse/discourse/commit/fa0868fc3f7a493dc5caf75ce6b66960cf33d6cb). Fixed via:
