I think this mode is often used because the new iPhones is so wide in portrait mode 😃 and is viewport-fit=cover really nesasary here? Without that Meta data part it would support those new iPhones in landscape. ---

I don’t think I’ve ever used discourse in landscape like this. When held landscape orientation, is there anything beneath the bezel that can’t be accessed short of changing orientation? If so, is it worth the trade off sacrificing some gutter space? ---
