Ja, wir haben in der Vergangenheit über den „Echo-Modus“ gesprochen, aber nie einen Schalter dafür eingebaut. Es ist etwa 2-3 Tage Arbeit, bis das richtig funktioniert. Wir bräuchten eine neue Website-Einstellung, eine neue Benutzereinstellung, ein bisschen UI, um sie auszuwählen und so weiter.
Ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob wir diese Arbeit im Moment priorisieren sollten.

Currently users receive notifications of all posts in a topic, including their own. This emulates traditional mailing list behaviour, but many users are familiar with some mail client’s behaviour that “hides” these emails automatically.
Perhaps there could be an option (off by default) to include the user’s own posts in notifications (on would notify them of their post, off would skip it)?
We’ve recently set up Discourse, and I’ve found that every time I reply to a new topic, I will receive an email containing my reply. This seems similar to Getting notification when you reply to a topic , though this topic does not discuss email notifications.
I feel like this is a bug as I know what I’ve just posted; I shouldn’t have to receive an email confirmation.
While the category email-in support is maturing, are there plans for a feature where the user would get a reply from discourse when they email to a category incoming email address?
this would make it possible for the user to add extra information to the private thread, since they now have an address they can reply to, and it would give some sense of “this email didn’t go into a black hole”.
