# Apply preferences settings for all normal users globally

As we know each normal user can apply these preferences as per his/her requirement.

so is there any way to apply these settings globally by admin for all the users.

For most of those settings if you change the default it’ll offer to change them for everyone. But that might not override changes people have made already, so you might check out [Administrative Bulk Operations](https://meta.discourse.org/t/administrative-bulk-operations/118349) for some solutions.
