# Approval queue: Admin not getting email notifications

I am not sure if I am doing something wrong here.

I don’t get any email notifications when messages come in the queue (for days together). In fact, any notifications.  
Did I screw up with some settings?

I believe you have to set the moderator flag on your account to get those alerts. The assumption is that admins are not really there to do the day to day moderation tasks.
