# 게시물 서명은 정말 옛날 이야기인가요?

나를 더 나이가 들어 보이게 만들 수도 있겠다. 😂

하지만 서명(Signature)은 다이얼업 방식의 ANSI/ASCII 그래픽 BBS 시절부터 존재해 왔습니다. 대부분의 BBS는 DOS에서 실행되었지만, C=64와 Amiga에서 돌아가는 BBS도 있었습니다.

어떤 게시판(BBS)을 이용하느냐에 따라 오프라인 메일 리더를 사용하는 경우도 있었습니다.

많은 BBS 소프트웨어는 Telegard의 해킹/포크 버전이었습니다. 가장 많이 사용되던 것은 "Renegade BBS"였습니다.

그 시절 저는 OVR 파일을 16진수 편집(Hex editing)하여 MCI 코드를 삽입함으로써 인터페이스를 더 커스터마이징했습니다.

자동 서명(Auto signature)과/또는 태그라인(tagline)을 통해서요.
