# Are the regular bookmarks gone?

I just updated to 2.5.0.beta3 and `bookmarkWithReminders` works, but if I remove it and add `bookmark` to the `post menu`, the bookmark icon no longer appears. Does this mean that regular bookmarks are no longer active?

New bookmarks replace the old ones, yes.

Note… we are going to be nuking all the places that say “bookmarkWithReminder” soonish.

It is just a bit of a transient leftover.
