# Ask to repeat password while creating new account

Hey,
I am wondering if there is a way to ask the new user to repeat his password in one more field while creating a new account using email address??
The field needs to ask for repeating the password and confirming that both are the same.
With this field, the chances of inputting a wrong password is minimal.

As of right now, I don’t believe this is possible.
When requested, [the feature request](https://meta.discourse.org/t/confirm-password-prompt/109575) was answered with:
