@techAPJ: Sort of…

I have a multi-monitor setup for my system. I have my laptop (non-touch screen), and 2 external 23" monitors (one touch, one not). Let me do some repro attempts with and without the external touch screen connected.

Edit: I still cannot consistently reproduce this. I have connected and disconnected my monitor, restarted Chrome each time I change the connection, and still cannot get the typable area at all over at the Stonehearth Discourse. Here on Meta, I did notice the typable area appear during one of my disconnects, but after connecting and disconnecting a second time (where I am currently), I still do not have the typable area. In any case, while I understand this is a very strange edge case, it should not matter whether an externally connected monitor is touch or not as to whether the typable area appears. I can understand an iPad or Surface whose _default_ monitor is touch, but not when my laptop is non-touch and I connect a screen with touch.
