# Auth0 signin using passwordless

Hi there, I’ve followed [this guide](https://meta.discourse.org/t/configure-sign-up-and-log-in-with-auth0-using-the-oauth2-basic-plugin/64633) to configure Discourse sign in using Auth0.  
I currently use Auth0 Passwordless (email) with Universal Login.

I’ve tried using connection=email in the Discourse oauth2 authorize options field to enable Auth0 passwordless in Discourse but the user is instead prompted to enter a password at login.

Could you advise if it’s possible to use Auth0 passwordless and Universal Login with Discourse, and if so how I pass the connection=email parameter? My goal is to allow my users to login to my Discourse community using Auth0 passwordless authentication method. As shown in the screenshot users are currently prompted for a password. I can therefore get Auth0 login working but user is prompted for password. On Auth0 I am using Universal Login. Any help greatly appreciated, thanks.
