# Automatic Backups (successful) don't send email

I’m getting emails from manual backups succeeding, but getting none from the automated backup schedules.

The automated backups are working fine, I’m just not getting emails.

I haven’t been able to test backup failures yet, whether manual or automatic.

Can someone confirm if this is expected, or if there’s a problem on my end?

I’m on v2.7.0.beta5.

That’s expected. You only get notified about failed automatic backups.
