# Automatically detect too long paragraphs?

Hey guys
In my forum I have the constant influx of new users who tend to write waaay too long paragraphs. Hard to read and the community gets annoyed.
I don’t want my mods to remind new users all the time to use a new paragraph more often. It takes away their time.
Instead how about a feature to automatically detect when a user exceeds a specific amount of characters in a paragraphs and give them a small improvement suggestion in the post preview?

Change the minimum topic length number in the settings. 🙂 I can agree that if someone writes too much it gets boring.

I don’t understand. That’s not the issue.
My issue is that often new members don’t create new paragraphs, but rather end up posting a huge text block which is hard to read.
