If you visit a category and click the search button you see a call to action to scope by category (which is default selected): ![image](https://global.discourse-cdn.com/meta/original/3X/b/f/bf59d5e705c48c65e25007f50c01fde1068e3252.png) On tag pages eg: [Topics tagged official](https://meta.discourse.org/tags/official) this functionality is missing. ![image](https://global.discourse-cdn.com/meta/original/3X/6/b/6bae34cc6d38555b4f2a703a2ebfe4ee7f3fba7a.png) Instead for cases like this route we should show: > `[v] Search the #official tag` ---
