# Automatically repeating discussions

Is there a way to have discussions “automatically” refresh?
For example, I have a discussion where one can share ideas for that week, and then I want it to erase those comments after one week and then start afresh, without me having to create a new discussion.

How many Topics are we talking about? As moderator you can always delete the posts. Not hard to do that for 10 Topics a week?
Sounds like plug-in territory to make it scheduled and automated though …

This is old, but it _is_ an interesting feature request and has come up in a variety of forms over the years. For example you might want a “what happened that’s cool this week” topic that repeats every week, with an edit to the date in the title, or similar.

I see some topics here appear to have auto-pruning behaviour, with a notice:

Is that similar to the request here?
