# AWS S3 Backup Object Type

Good day folks. By default it appears that when creating a backup on S3 via Discourse management interface, the object is stored as a ‘standard’ object (most expensive). Would it be an option to have it uploaded as a different type of object? Such as One Zone IA, or Standard AI.

I know I can use lifecycle policies after the upload, however one less thing for me to do!
