# Backup Restore Error

Brief look but we’re only dropping the restore schema first and then [moving all the tables between schemas](https://github.com/discourse/discourse/blob/master/lib/backup_restore/backup_restore.rb#L79-L101).

@ivanrlio is there a failed restore before you encountered this error?

One way to fix right now is just to drop the `backup` schema and try restoring again. ⚠ Dropping the `backup` schema means the previous state your site is in before your last restored will be lost.
