# Bad post time - Hour early

I’m experimenting an issue with the posts time.

All the posts have 1 hour early. I change the **application.rb** time\_zone value from UTC to BRT, but this not solve the problem… Can be the summer time? In my country there’s no summer time, all the yeat have the same time.

Discourse uses UTC internally. The time you see on the web site is based on your browser/computer settings. For example meta is telling me your post was made at 9:25am my time because that’s what my system wants.

Thanks for the reply.

So, why anyone see one hour early? I mean, if I write the post at the 10:00AM, the post info show 11:00AM…

Could be a bug?

I am pretty sure it isn’t a bug. Check your browser / system settings.

Sounds to me like you don’t have daylight savings set correctly on local.
