# Bad UX when a topic is solved you replied to

In your notification preferences there is

It also means you will no longer be notified when your post is selected, so you’re missing the thank you. But it’s less noisy, because tracking a topic happens often automatically when you are reading a topic, and while I read the topics to see if I can help, I didn’t want to be notified about all solutions.
