# Badges for peers

In the process of setting up an instance. Is there a way for me to enable badges which can be granted by other users. More like an instant recognition platform.

E.g. I liked the fact they you helped, I give you a good Samaritan badge. You did something which goes by our community value, some user gives you a corresponding badge. Essentially, a system where badges can be given my members to each other.

This isn’t currently possible, I’m afraid. Badges can only be granted by admins, mods or automatically.

Yes, you can develop a plugin for this or post in #Marketplace
