# Banner layout messed up after updating Discourse

Hello!
I just updated to the latest beta release and it appears something changed with this component…
In the image below, the black box with white letters used to be centered on the screen and only take up about 1/3 of the width. Now the black box takes up the majority of the space and the text is aligned left.
Was there a change to the component?

We didn’t have other reports, and since the topic is a bit old now, I think we can consider it fixed. Please send me a message if you still have issues. :slight_smile:
