BBcode or HTML to change font color?

(Crackmacs) #1

Tried to use both bbcode and html to change font colors within a post, but neither work. Is there any way for users to do this? I’m sure it can be done through some css hacks, but it would be smashing if it were able to be done by everyone.

I did search for this first, didn’t see anything. Apologies if this has been discussed before.

A plugin might be what you’re looking for? I’m not sure if anyone has already made one, but this post shows why it isn’t in core.

There is a plugin in the github Discourse org to allow BBCode color selection. Install it on your Discourse.

I think the history of online conversation has shown that colours are usually misused.

If you really really need to colour install and enable LaTeX rendering via discourse-mathjax plugin and you will be able to do this:

A side effect will be introducing your users to the beautiful world of LaTeX :rainbow:
