# Behind the Scenes: Our 2025 Prague Meetup

Every year, we bring our fully remote team together for a week-long meetup.
In September 2025, 87 of us gathered in Prague for an unforgettable experience in the only way we know how — chaotic, wholesome, and inspiring.

Impressive. I always thought Discourse was at best a 15-20 member team. Open Source software is surely not its only identity then.

Yes yes yes! You guys lead the way at making asynchronous problem solving easier. I’m delighted to see a stronger focus on the part of the market you’re already dominating (just look at the GitLab, Grafana, OpenAI, and Docker forums).
It has long been my view that improving communication across siloed and fractured departments as well as plugging gaps in documentation by treating conversation as documentation can have a huge impact on technology breakthroughs and the quality of future products.
