# 分类别名最佳实践？

I’m migrating an existing community to Discourse.

I’m not completely clear one how best to use category slugs. I was just using it as a very short description, but have found out that it has some relationship with # tags.

What are you best practices / advice for defining category slugs?

The slugs are what’s being used in the URL. Highly recommend that you use the default values (ie. the name of the category properly formatted for URLs).
