# Best practices for setting up the staff like weight

Our site is internal to our organization. We started out with the default setting.

I keep a test account that rarely/never logs in so I can see what comes through in the summary/digest emails. After a while, I got a sense that my likes were having too much influence on what showed up there. At that point I set it to 1, so staff have no more weight than others.
