# Best practices to manage events inside a category

I want to restrict the location to events.  
I created a tag group and this requires to have a parent tag and have the parent tag present, according to [Set up structured tagging with tag groups and category tag restrictions](https://meta.discourse.org/t/tags-category-restrictions-tag-groups-relationships/48260).

Am I missing something?
