# Beta dev version showing in Dashboard

I followed the guide below to install, but the version shown is 3.5.0.beta5-dev, is this correct? I thought the dev install was different?

Yes that is correct.
All versions of tests-passed branch have the -dev suffix at the end. It means “this is one version during the development of betaX.”
