# Better unfurling of Discourse topics on Slack

Your Discourse topic embeds on Slack just got better!

I just [pushed a commit](https://github.com/discourse/discourse/commit/6ef1537ee0524761b0be5972cc579fcf8f1a32c3) that adds `label1/data1` and `label2/data2` properties (found in [Twitter Product card](https://dev.twitter.com/cards/types/product)) in Discourse topics.

This improves the Discourse topic [unfurling on Slack](https://medium.com/slack-developer-blog/everything-you-ever-wanted-to-know-about-unfurling-but-were-afraid-to-ask-or-how-to-make-your-e64b4bb9254#.hfw8m8fv8).

Now you will be able to see Topic **Reading time** and **Likes** stats right on the Slack embed.

Might be emoji `:green_heart:`? Probably just a direct copy of what Slack was doing. Not sure why they went with green heart, either…
