# Bitnami Discourse container image is deprecated

Looks like that after Bitnami was aquired by Broadcom, images such as Discourse Bitnami won’t be updated anymore.

Just for reference purposes, I guess it’s good to note that there **may, eventually** be an official replacement for this. And I’ll emphasize again that this is **not stable nor production ready** but is already usable if you know what you’re doing and it fits your use case 🙂

But I think it’s good to be aware of this especially for anyone who was relying on bitnami previously.
